Presence in Parenting

About The Event
“A parent’s interaction with their child literally impacts their child’s brain development...” Sandra Dupont
How do you interact with your children on a day to day basis? What is it that they want from you, and you from them? How much do you listen to them?
Do you find yourself going through lists of things to do, or directing them more than being with them? How’s it working?
Join Rylla Resler, a yoga and mindfulness teacher, as we delve into how to be at our best with our kids. This will be an interactive workshop, consisting of conversation and exploration of your parenting style. What’s working, and what isn’t?
- Learn to speak from your highest self to your child’s highest self. - Learn to bite your tongue (so their highest self has a chance to come forward before you provide the solution!). - Learn how to begin to disconnect the buttons they are so good at pushing. - Discover how to create strong, honest guidelines/rules that are effective for you and your kids. - Begin practicing presence and awareness now, so you can build your relationship with your child/children now and have that as your base for the future. It’s never too late nor too early to begin!
