Welcome to Basel Children's Trust
The BCT (Basel Childrens Trust) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that provides help, support, and information to expectant parents and families with young children living in the Basel area: from "bump" to "babe" and "beyond".
Through our many programs like antenatal courses, playgroups, monthly newsletters and social events, the BCT supports members on the incredible journey which is parenting. Founded in 1992 with only 29 members, today we support more than 200 families from around the world with English as the common spoken language. We are an international community of parents with young children who want to get involved - with other members, with our wider community, and with the surrounding region Basel.

BCT Playgroups @ Gymboree & My Jumping Gym on Temporary Break
The BCT’s Thursday playgroup at My Jumping Gym and Friday playgroup at Gymboree are both suspended until further notice due to reasons outside of the BCT’s control. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please contact Gymboree and My Jumping Gym directly for more information about classes or open playtime. Both businesses continue to have opening hours during the regularly scheduled BCT playgroups and are happy to welcome members at each business’s normal playtime fee.
